A Brief Look Inside Working Spaces Portfolio Over the Years
As industry leaders in professional design, the teams at our six Working Spaces locations have had the honor and pleasure of working with some of the country’s most progressive and forward-thinking organizations. Working Spaces did it all, whether projects involved relocations, renovations, rebranding, or brand-new builds. We provided an exceptional and seamless customer service experience while transforming their space with state-of-the-art materials, furnishings, technological integrations and cutting-edge design trends that best served their mission, culture, staff, and clients. We’re proud of our contributions and are thrilled to share some of our most notable modernizations! Which is most inspiring for your next project?

St. Anthony North Hospital, Centura Health – Denver, CO
Working Spaces was elated to be involved in developing this entire medical facility from the ground up in 2015. From waiting areas to patient rooms and beyond, our designers facilitated the design and furnishing of warm and welcoming spaces with plenty of natural light that considered both the wellbeing of patients and supported staff. We were thrilled with this beautiful blend of modern function and comfort, as were the developers, who have again secured the Working Spaces team for a new expansion project to be completed in 2023.

Valley View Innovation School – Denver, CO
This unique project came to life during the summer of 2022, with enough time to spare for admin staff, teachers, and excited Pre-K to 8th-grade students to walk through the new doors for the first day of school. This project presented the challenge of choosing fabrics, textures and furniture universal to all age groups, focusing on project-based learning at Colorado’s latest and greatest Innovation School. Our team designed each space to inspire productivity, creativity and collaboration. Whether in the culinary lab, robotics lab, IT space, or “free space” for outdoor learning, each room encourages connection in a free-form way for students to grow and learn from one another.

Shelter Insurance, North Campus Facility – St. Louis, MO
Working Spaces has shared an inspiring and successful relationship with Shelter Insurance, completing several projects for their national branches over a decade-long partnership. When it came time to update the North Campus Facility in St. Louis in 2020, they trusted our high-caliber design team in St. Louis to accomplish a complete transformation. The North Campus Facility was a large project aiming to modernize; over the course of 6 months, we structured a 5 Phase plan to integrate updated finishes, furnishings, and tech into private offices, Xsite workstations, and conference and training rooms, and break and lounge areas.

NextGen Precision Health, University of Missouri – Columbia, MO
As soon as you enter the University of Missouri’s 265,000 square foot, four-story NextGen building, you’re welcomed with comfortable seating and a vibrant, inspiring palette that promotes connection and collaboration on every level. The goal for the 2021 design of the campus’ single largest research facility was to translate the crucial genetic lab research they accomplish into the life-changing interventions, medicines, technologies and treatments designed to improve patient health and wellbeing. As a result, furnishings throughout the facility promote a learning atmosphere, and workstations, huddle spaces, conference rooms and touch-down areas encourage supportive interaction.

Missouri Public Utility Alliance Office and Training Center – Columbia, MO
Missouri’s Public Utility Alliance partnered with Working Spaces to create a new office and training center, completed in January of 2022. Their new headquarters is housed overlooking a beautiful wooded area. We incorporated natural, biophilic design trends reflecting elements of the surroundings into their two-facility plan through furnishings, fabrics and finishes for a serene and uplifting atmosphere. Office spaces included private, administrative, and multi-purpose areas for training, staff, and quarterly meetings. The training facility hosts offices, workstations, classrooms, lounge and break rooms, and an open, high-bay area for lineman and utility training. Covered outdoor lounge areas allow staff a respite in areas immersed in nature.
